Dutch Bros Coffee has a reputation for being a young, fun brand. The goal of their business model is for customers to truly enjoy the experience of getting coffee. Their company culture event, or Coacha, was designed for Dutch Bros employees to celebrate their success and reinforce the culture they feel is responsible for that success. Fully designed, built, and installed by Gallagher the event was held in two different locations, Portland and Sacramento, with over 2,500 baristas in Portland and over 1,000 in Sacramento. We built multiple IG moments including a tulip field made from coffee cups, custom painted lids and scenic backgrounds, a windmill made from over 1,200 Dutch Bros coffee cups and an interactive History Land including wild posting graphics, memorabilia and vintage neon stand signage. We produced a gaming area including tricycle racing, axe throwing and other carnival style games. This was the first Coacha event that Dutch Bros hired an outside agency to create and manage the event. The client was quoted saying this was the “Best Coacha ever,”.
